Deepak started his sea-going career in 1987 and saw service in geared and gearless bulk carriers, general cargo, RO-RO, container and car carriers over a period of 21 years. During the last 7 years at sea he was in command of container & Car carriers owned by major shipping companies. He joined Aquarius International as a Marine Consultant in 2008 before its acquisition by C-MAR and has been involved in a variety of work including cargo damage, grounding and fire casualties, P & I condition surveys, warranty surveys involving heavy-lift project cargoes, underwater inspections, MARPOL surveys and investigations into charter party disputes.
