Abdul is a fully qualified Master Mariner who spent 22 years at sea between
1970 and 1992. Having served in all deck officer ranks, including spending
two years as Master, he came ashore in 1992 to work as a cargo superintendent
and cargo surveyor. Since then he has continued to be involved in marine
surveying and has gained extensive experience of marine operations, damaged
cargoes, warranty surveys, casualty response, charter party disputes and
Flag State representation.
He came to C-Mar Consultants through Aquarius International as a Senior Marine
Consultant in 2008.
